Windows Dropping The Free Upgrade Soon

According to cnet.com, Windows 7 and 8.1 users have six months left to take advantage of the free Windows 10 upgrade. The software was release on July 29 and it’s good for one year. There have been signs that most people are jumping starting from windows 7 to windows 10.

Annoyingly, Microsoft have been doing pop-up reminders and in some ways it has triggered many people.

Also according to CNET, Windows 10 is still listed as an optional upgrade, but Microsoft said it will change that status to a recommended upgrade early this year, which could prompt more people to install it.

This is very stressful to people because they are forcing us to upgrade when there’s really not much to upgrade on, especially when I have windows 9.
